Pick a Flick - Autumn 2026 

Pick-a-Flick is for retired people of Goring, Streatley and South Stoke. A film show and light lunch are provided every 3rd Thursday of the month (except August) from 10:30am to 2pm in The Canterbury Room at St Thomas' Church, Goring.

The cost is £5.00 per event including a light lunch. Please contact Jenny Boyd or Sarah Fraser to book in and to ask for transport if you require it. We look forward to hearing from you.

 Set in 1840’s London Dickens had been struggling to come up with fresh ideas and sets out to write a book that would reignite his career. He began creating a masterpiece (A Christmas Carol) that gave birth to the Christmas we know and love today.
