Workshop & Concert

Workshop places are limited to 100, so book your place early to avoid disappointment!  Tickets for the workshop are £3 each.  No Gospel singing experience or ability to read music is needed.

After the workshop, there will be time for some light refreshments before the Immanuel Choir give a free concert. The workshop and concert are independent but workshop participants are also welcome to attend the concert as well.

Children (under 18) - only with an adult who will be responsible for the children at all times.

Immanuel Gospel
      started up in 1991 and has its home base in Immanuel Church in Stockholm, Sweden, a congregation which is affiliated with the Uniting Church in Sweden. The choir leader is Ms Nina Tellander. The choir has today around 40 active members.

Immanuel Gospel presents a unique and distinctive type of gospel music with a touch of “Real American Gospel” and “Spirituals”.

Immanuel Gospel will deliver a message which will move and entertain with special emphasize on love and the struggle for a better world.

During its 35 years Immanuel Gospel has sung at many different churches, festivals, company events as well as the Swedish Grammy’s, sporting events and fund raisers for children of the world. Immanuel Gospel has also performed in “Sommarkrysset” (a Swedish TV summer musical event) as well as other TV and radio programs. The choir yearly sing at the Martin Luther King ceremony that takes place in Stockholm in January. Through their singing, Immanuel Gospel has among other supported the homeless in Sweden, people with HIV & Aids and project in the DRC, Congo Brazzaville, South Africa and Liberia. Immanuel Gospel has been on tour to several countries in Europe, Israel/Palestine, South Africa and the USA.
